An explorer goes to the Amazon jungle to locate a native chieftan named Edo, but she doesn’t know to which tribe Edo belongs. There are three tribes in the area:
-the snake tribe
-the iguana tribe
-the crocodile tribe
A person who belongs to the Snake Tribe always tells the truth.
A person who belongs to the Iguana Tribe always lies.
A person who belongs to the Crocodile Tribe sometimes tells the truth and sometimes lies.
In order to find Edo, the explorer must determine the correct tribe. She asks three native men – each from a different tribe – two questions:
“What tribe do you belong to?”
“What tribe does Edo belong to?”
Tofl answers: “I am not a snake. Edo is an Iguana.”
Sebu says: “I am not an Iguana. Edo is a crocodile.”
Ona says: “I am not a crocodile. Edo is a snake.”
So, what tribe does Tofl, Sebu, Ona and Edo belong to?
I do not find it easy. Well, if you did, probably you are a genius. Ha-ha. By the way, I do suspect that there is more than one correct answer.

Some tips before the real answer so that you have another shot.
There is no need to try to solve for Edo as the one belongs to snake tribe will reveal Edo identity.
Every member of the snake tribe always tells the truth. Tofl, who says he is not a snake, can’t be a snake, whether he is telling the truth or not.
If you don’t agree / understand the above sentence, there is no need to continue reading the rest. That is the key sentence.
Since every member of the iguana tribe always lies, Tofl, who says he is not a snake, cannot be a iguana. Tofl must therefore be a crocodile.
Ona cannot be a crocodile, because Tofl is the Crocodile. Therefore Ona, who say he is not a crocodile, must be telling the truth. He cannot be a lying iguana, so he must be a truthful snake.
Edo, therefore, must be a snake too because truthful Ona says so. That leaves Sebu as the iguana.
