I took the effort to translate my previous post. I tried my best not to direct-translate it but still preserve the original meaning.
Everyone would encounter someone that he/she in your heart, meant more than just a friend to you.
However, there might be some reason that both of you could not be together.
It might be because of his/her friends that he/she could not go after you;
It might be because of the views of family members;
It might be either one of you is going abroad for further study;
Did not want the other person to wait for years.
Both of you might encountered each other too early and therefore;
Both of you did not cherished each other.
Both of you might encounter each other too late,
and there is another person around this time.
One of you might try to make it up for him/her this time;
But it is too late;
The other party is no longer waiting there.
Both of you might tried too hard to grasp each others heart,
And missed the correct timing to make the move.
But even if both of you did not manage to get together,
the bond is still there.
But deep down, you clearly do know;
the concern you have for he/she is clearly more than just friends.
Although both of you could not hold each other hands on the street,
Both of you can still be friends and share almost every single secret.
They said they wanted to go after someone and you promise to help;
But you know it is hard for you to wish them success deep inside.
He/she encountered difficulties in their life;
and you went all way out to help,
without having a thought that he/she owed you a favor.
When your actual boyfriend/girlfriend are jealous of your special friend,
You reassure them that he/she was just a friend;
however, there is such a ray of uncertainty deep in your heart.
Each person would encounter such a person
down the journey of life
And it is such a self-contradictory behavior.
You wouldn’t satisfy being just friend with him/her;
however you know that this is the best shot you have.
You would rather care for him/her this way,
rather than being separated from each other one day.
You prefer to be just friends,
without jealousy, be your true self and without hiding a single things from him/her.
Because you know,
he/she still care for you forever.
When both of you can’t be more than just friends,
choose to be his/her special friend instead,
there are nothing bad about that.
Who is this special friend of yours?
Lots of friendships in life;
Are lost because he/she has feelings for you;
But you don’t feel the same.
It is a sad reality,
wonderful friendship just have to give way to the reality.
This friendship might be difficult to sustain anymore;
just because of one “I like you”;
And just because you did not make the right call;
No wonder some people are unwilling to make this step.
It's just like gambling,
it is either you get a boyfriend/girlfriend;
Or you just lose a friend after you confessed.
These are things you cannot predict in life;
Perhaps the other party wouldn’t bother,
and both of you are still friends;
But not as close as before anymore.
Hope you will cherish the people around you,
perhaps at this moment you did not feel the need to do so and that his / her is still not the most important person to you yet.
But once you lose it
Everything is too late.
