One particular section I dislike in Biology is the menstruation. I never fail to have the thought that girls have unfair advantage in understanding the concept behind it. Don't tell me they don't.
So, X came in with a prescription - changing from one hormone pills to the other. The pre-registration Pharmacist is explaining to the customer - how the old pills try to mimic diffferent concentration of hormones in body as the cycle proceeds and the new one does not etc.
and he proceeds to all the magical number sevens, endometrium sloughing for seven days, ovulation at day seven*two and how a regular textbook cycle last for seven*four etc. At one point I just lost between his facts probably I didnt pay full attention but the customer still nodding her head.
It is a time to read up on the topic, it is a sign that I must. I thought that piece of knowledge won't be any significance.
As I become familiar with the pharmacy, new problems arise.
"You are looking for insect repellent and something to treat insect bites?"
"Okay, come this way with me. Well, we have this, this and this etc...."
"So, what do you recommend?"
*You asked me? Do I actually look that knowledgeable?*
"Hold on, I get someone else to help you."
and I don't get it when litterally everyone is having hay fever.
and one came in wanted to get [sheep] placenta cream.
