FOLLOW THE TRACES AND DEVOUR ME

She fixed her eyes on mine.

"Do you think perfumes make a girl more attractive?", She asked.

“What?” I was taken aback by her randomness and I told her I needed some time to construct an answer. I never get back to her til now.

I am not quite an olfactory person and certainly do not believe in attraction by the mean of aroma unless it is pheromone. I however, pay considerably large amount of attention to the scent of one’s shampoo.

Imagine yourself walking along the path with the gentle breezing and with it, came along a mild scent. Her long hairs were dancing along with the wind and I would assume that she just washed her hair not too long ago.

Some girls are a nightmare with their perfumes. You could smell the traces of them 10 meters away. It sure do draw your attention but for the wrong reason. As you sat behind her, you keep getting the choking foul scent and you find yourself breathing the contaminated air over and over again. They still believe they smell nice with their favourite perfume anyway, living a happy life at your expense.

It is a different situation if you get a quiet and soothing odour when you are in close proximity with a girl, and you pay more attention to her although you are distracted for a moment. You find yourself adjusting your posture just trying to experience the fab moment one more time.

Some people just have a distinct smell. You just knew they are right behind you even without having a look. So, scent could reminds you of someone sometimes. Shampoos anyone? Anyway, they worked only with long hairs.

We passed by the perfume section later and the playful side of me just decided to grab one of the random dispenser that soon turns a liquid into a fine mist surrounding her.

She had some acute coughs and quickly grasped for some fresh air. Then, she stared at me and asked “Are you trying to make me smell nice?” before ignoring me and called me a liar like she always do when she would not believe me.

The bottom line is, a soft gentle scent will do if needed.
