A LITTLE STORY ABOUT "GOT"

I do not know how it GOT started.

My friend was trying to prove a point to the locals that Asian's English is a little different.

Do you know "where got"?

*Blur face* What you mean by that? as in God?

No, it is not that "God" but "got" as in G.O.T.

Huh? What is that? What do you mean by "where" then?

You know, "where" as in "where".

You will need to spell that for me.

And my friend was writing down "where" on her paper.

They GOT a little excited about how to use "where got" appropriately and consulted me.


I used to thought that almost everyone would kind of knew the phase "where got", apparently I was so wrong.

So much for direct translation from Mandarin to English...

It was kind of funny, at least to me.
