sleeping among the clouds, i believe i can fly

Here I am again waiting for my flight, only this time it is back to where I was two weeks ago.

I have to stretch my bladder for another hour before possibly pulling my bags into the toilet with me; emptying the apricot oolong tea. It is not convenient to travel alone but it is still better than traveling with your parents where you are forever a kid in their eyes and they still want to take care of everything for you.

Flights are annoying and time consuming with the check-in etc and they never stop allocate me the seat beside the window, a seat I hate the most. If I need to empty my bladder, everyone has to get out before I could. I could only wish hard that the person beside me has to use the washroom so they could be the bad guy instead of me. Seats furthest to the window, the aisle seats are the best. I could just get up and walk around the plane anytime or get anything from my cabin luggage.

It is even worse to travel beside someone who is a virgin traveler. They are eager and enthusiastic about the deep blue sky out there and I would love to shut the blind and sleep through my flight. I am no big fan of staring out the windows all the time and I would love to exchange my seat with them; symbiosis is desirable quality and should be practiced more.

I slept during flights because time flies and my nose would stop trying to moisture my nostrils, an attempt to counter the extreme dryness of the air in the flight cabin, and we are not supposed to bring any fluids bottled in a larger than 100ml container. Dehydration is a major irritation coupled with a runny nose. Someone told me that airlines resort to remove any moisture in the air because it increases the fuel efficiency; the plane is less heavy that way.

Some hate flying especially the takeoff and landing but I just love it. They would keep their eyes closed, say their prayer and grab the seat handle so tight but I kind of enjoy the tensed atmosphere. Air turbulences are the best thing during any flight; the zero gravity feeling turned me on [literally], the extra adrenaline - pleasing. When you have no control of a thing, learn to enjoy it.

It is safer to take a flight than to travel by other method and I am sure someone on the plane would have taken care of the worrying part for me. I never pay attention to the safety procedures demonstration, worst come to worst I would just grab the card in front of me and hopefully the diagrams are not confusing, my life depends on it.

It was a fun two weeks back. I am spending 350 days at one place and 15 at the other. Absence make the heart grow fonder?

It has been six weeks since I am back and weather is getting a little chilly. It was a rough landing by the pilot and the last word I read before that was beta blocker. I was thinking to myself, what on earth is a beta blocker, should have studied harder last semester.

My Bad Memory

I have bad memory on certain things, faces are one of them.

I was at the airport enjoying my last halal Spicy Chicken McDeluxe when this guy came and sat in front of me, was busy calling and sms-ing my friends bidding goodbye to them.

I have no recollection of his face in my memory at all but he seems to know me and apparently we study at the same campus.

In the midst of trying to recall anything about this guy,

Him: Do you have my number? Oh, you can just contact me when you go out with the girls.

So, no I did not get his number and could not use the trick how to spell your name again and certainly does not know which girl should I ask. My best guess is he stayed at the same student housing as me.

Airport's drama...
While I was queuing to check in and get my boarder pass for my flight, the guy in front of me was on the mobile phone all the time. I am sure 9999999999 of his brain cells were fried and he was using his left ear all the time.

And I realized he was wearing the same pants as me, gay.

Back to my bad memory, I might approached someone offering my help when they stepped into the pharmacy, I went back to the things I was doing at that time and offered my help again to the same person because I thought they are new customer just because they are at different aisle.
