So, here I am struck with my revision test for my biology quiz.
I was kind of pissed off in the morning after attempting the tutorials and again, there were Qs on “future” topics (those you are not taught yet). They seem to enjoy giving those Qs.
If you can’t cover the topic in time, just include those Qs in the next tutorials. I don’t mind having 8 Q for next tutorial instead of 5 as long as I get the notes and I know others would gladly appreciate that.
We are learning about Sn1 and Sn2 and certainly elimination is to be covered either this week or probably next followed by some synthesis stuff. The Q about elimination reaction aka regeneration of double bond followed by introducing nitrile group and R group using Gridnard reagent is certainly too much.
Was telling myself to spend only 15 minutes on that Q and move on but instead, I end up spending around 1 hour going through books without any idea what I am looking for.

Neither do I remember how to introduce nitrile group (I just knew it has to be nitrile group), how to convert the nitrile into R group and the worse part I didn’t know it is called a nitrile group at the first place. I would just call it cyanide group in my language.
Guess God saw the effort I put in and decided to help me. Somehow I saw the part on nitrile group and again I came across Gridnard reagent by luck. If there is such thing as luck, I guess it had a crush on me this morning.
The story doesn’t end there; I was busy decoding the carbonyl group even when I was bathing. I managed to solve the whole Q and I am still quite impressed by myself. Now, this Q better comes out in finals.

I watched Twilight in the common room last Sunday. Of course you need free pizza to lure me there. Free ice-cream was a bonus though.
I love staying here. If the rent doesn’t increase by a lot for next year, I would still choose to stay here.
To all directors out there,
If you need girls to fall for any of your movies, use a handsome boy. It doesn’t matter if your story doesn’t make sense as long as you have some romance in it.
That was exactly what I thought of that movie. I don’t mind it being a vampire story but the storyline doesn’t make sense.
